Back before the baby Blackburns... Daddy could shift gears and roll in any direction he wanted. Sometimes he wanted to go vist Alabama Folk Artist Mose Tolliver. Here's a picture of Fleming on one of those visits. We now have two Mose Tolliver paintings in the house. I think the one in this photo may be one of them (I hate to say it but I'm not sure where it is right now...) and the other I can see just over my computer monitor. It's a turtle painting. Thank God for Mose T and thank God for the days when a man could just go where he needed to go.

Melissa, I look forward to reading! You'll have to find your other painting - I would like to know what Mose named it - he usually wrote the name on the back. I'll have to visit the "hollow" sometime and see yours and Fleming's artwork...Congrats on your plunge into blogdom.
